Air-borne Echosounder (Echologger Air50)


Air-borne precision echosounder Echologger Air50 was launched and supplied to a world renowned institute KIOST (Korea Institute of Ocean Science & Technology).

12 units of the device were initially installed to study sediment move and tide speed in a swash zone. KIOST have plan to deploy more the devices to cover a wider area.

The unique device was to developed to help researchers to find out key parameters of sediment exchange between land and sea using air-borne ultrasound.
